SEC home winning streak vs. reality...
The consecutive win streak in Tuscaloosa is identical to the number of ranked teams the Tide has lost to in recent games. Hope vs. Reality will colllide tonight in Coleman Colesium at 6:0) PM. ESPN is doing the honors. The Gators have already won 15 games. Alabama has won 8. Hopeless? Not so fast my friend as Lee Corso might say. Florida has won ten of those games by 2 points are less. That is the difference between being ranked and not ranked. The Tide is zero for luck so far this season. Florida has won every close games they've played. Only a fluke shot by a UCONN player has kept the Gators from winning 16. Can the Tide win? Not likely, but I expect the Tide to play well and give the Gators a good shot. Win? Let's not get crazy here. This is an important game for Bama. Sooner or later any team just falls apart. A killer game by Florida might do that to the Tide.
If Tide players can shoot well, get a fair share of the boards, and not make stupid turnovers they have a chance. It will take the Tide's best game of the season and Florida has to help as well. Florida has the insider game. If Florida has a bad night we might win. Florida by 10 otherwise.
